Join us for a beginners handbuilding workshop, where we will teach you how to create a unique piece of pottery. Your session will include how to use handbuilding equipment and techniques to create one piece, which we will fire, glaze and mail to you should you be unable to pick up.

Our studio is very active during the week so our workshops are held on Weekends only.

Workshop sessions are offered at 10am or 1pm.

  WORKSHOP FAQ:

• $135 for one person, $65 per person after that (max of 6 people total)

• Workshops are approximately 2 hours depending on the number of people.

• Workshop include firing and mailing fees (US only - International at an additional cost) you will get to keep 1 piece/person, I will clean up your piece and prep it for 2 firings. At the end of the class, you’ll get to choose your glaze and I’ll glaze it for you in a solid color.

• Any additional pieces you make can be fired at our standard rate of $0.12 per cubic inch, which must be paid via venmo or cash (exact change).

• This includes clay, glaze, and firing. If you’d like to return to glaze your piece there will be an additional fee. Please speak with instructor during session.

• Typically it will take between 3 - 8 weeks for a piece to be mailed via USPS.

• If you book a lesson less than 48 hours before the scheduled date your reservation may be refused.

• The timeframe for this class does not allow for custom painting or special glazing

• For now, classes are limited to adults 18 and over (email me if otherwise), all attending participants will be required to use hand sanitizer and wear a mask.

  SCHEDULING:

• Once you select your class and date we will reach out via email to select a time for your session.

  CANCELATION or RESCHEDULING Terms:

• All sessions include a $65 nonrefundable deposit.

• Should you need to cancel your session, we require at least 48hrs notice in order to receive back your payment minus a $60 deposit. Any session canceled in less than 48hrs will not be refunded.

• We allow you to reschedule your session once before cancelling and returning your payment minus a $65 deposit.

  LOCALS

• Locals receive 10% off their workshops using code “LOCALPOTTER”. We will require a valid ID showing your address. This is only valid for those living in Sullivan or Ulster County.
