Decant Wine & Spirits

Hurleyville, NY

We had the pleasure of working with Decant Wine & Spirits and interior designer, Sam Leeds to create custom lighting and art installation for their space. We crafted four handmade one of a kind terra cotta pendant lights that were specifically designed to be hung above their handmade concrete bar top. As a focal point we decided that these pendants needed to pay homage to the old world aesthetic of the wine shop, which is why we added stunning gold leafed exterior. To create some more depth and variety we melted wine bottle glass on the interior.

In addition to the pendants, we also created two custom installations inspired by our popular ceramic wall hangers. These installations feature fallen tree branches that were reconstructed to fit the flow of the space, handcrafted ceramic beads, brass, reclaimed piano wire, and other found objects that come together to create a unique and eye-catching design. We created not only something interesting to look at but pieces that will create another layer of wonder. When a breeze passes through the shop you might here little jingles from beads or brass gently swaying - an homage to being out in the wine vineyards.

Overall, we are thrilled with how the final design turned out and we're honored to have been a part of such a special project for Decant Wine & Spirits located in Hurleyville, Sullivan County, NY.
